The Department of Workforce Development - Division of Employment & Training (DWD-DET) is responsible for monitoring the fiscal compliance of the state of Wisconsin's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I grants. The fiscal management section of the WIOA Title I Manual contains the administrative requirements for all WIOA Title I grants awarded by DWD-DET and is designed to provide financial management guidance to the local Workforce Development Boards (WDBs). To promote consistency with other federally assisted programs, the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and the Department of Labor (DOL) administrative requirements have been taken into consideration in developing these requirements. ALL DWD-DET recipients1 must ensure that both they and their recipients have local written policies in place that require compliance with the applicable portions of this section.
