Youth Apprenticeship Coordinators / Partners Resources

Wisconsin's Youth Apprenticeship Coordinators are the backbone of the YA program, recruiting employers and students and coordinating many aspects of the program in their areas.

Wisconsin YA Consortiums

The Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship Program guidelines are developed in collaboration with and endorsed by representatives from Wisconsin businesses, industry associations and trade representatives in each program area.

The purpose of the grant is to sustain and expand the statewide youth apprenticeship program. All local partnerships must be approved by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) to operate a Youth Apprenticeship Program.

Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program has 11 occupational areas and 75 pathways offerings.

Materials are intended to assist DWD staff, Regional and local coordinators as well as the general public in educating industry, employers, students, and parents on the advantages of Youth Apprenticeship.
