Heroes for Healthcare: Heroes for Healthcare is dedicated to serving as a valuable resource for healthcare veterans and military personnel during their transition to civilian life, facilitating opportunities for gainful employment in the healthcare sector. By collaborating with nine education partners across Wisconsin and Yellow Ribbon schools, Heroes for Healthcare extends assistance to all veterans seeking healthcare credentials, covering gaps not addressed by the GI Bill or those facing financial constraints. Heroes for Healthcare collaborates with 14 healthcare institutions across the state, including UW-Health, Froedtert Health, and Advocate Aurora Medical Group.
WisConnect: Veterans who are college students can find internships on WisConnect, a free online resource that matches college students with internships by location, college major and key skills. Sign in to develop a profile and search for internships.
