DWD Secretary-Designee Frostman Visits Acuity in Sheboygan, Celebrates Workforce Development Month

SHEBOYGAN – Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary-designee Caleb Frostman today visited Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan to discuss talent attraction and retention as part of Workforce Development Month in Wisconsin. Frostman has visits planned across the state as part of the month-long celebration where he will visit employers, like Acuity, that have gone the extra mile in their effort to develop a top-class workforce while also implementing programs to retain their talented workers as their careers progress.

"Governor Tony Evers recently proclaimed September as Workforce Development Month in Wisconsin to celebrate Wisconsin workers, and the employers that provide good-paying, family supporting careers," Frostman said. "Acuity is one of those employers, with a family-like work atmosphere, strong opportunities for career growth, and other employer provided benefits that promote a high quality of life for employees who deliver high-quality work."
