STEM Occupational Program

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Occupational Program

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers provide thousands of career opportunities for students with an interest in math, science, and problem-solving. This Youth Apprenticeship occupational area focuses on two pathways:

Students who pursue one of these careers will be involved in planning, managing, and providing valuable scientific research and technical services.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math pathways

Students can choose from two occupational areas with options to specific pathways.

Engineering and Technology

In the engineering and technology pathway, students' study and apply principles of science and math to solve problems in engineering projects involving design, development, or production in various technologies. There are three areas to choose from:

Science and Math

Careers in the science and math pathway apply essential math and science content in a real-world application to increase knowledge in physical, environmental, and human endeavors.
