Apprentices must satisfy all program admission requirements before beginning the apprenticeship. Prior to completing the apprenticeship, the apprentice must: 1. Satisfy all completion requirements of the associate degree program, including service learning. 2. Attend the Respiratory Therapist state conference at least one day in the final year of the program as part of paid related instruction. 3. Obtain the Certified Respiratory Therapist credential. 4. Successfully complete Transition to Trainer in the final year of the apprenticeship.
