This pilot registered apprenticeship is aligned with the Wisconsin Technical College System Nursing Associate Degree. Employers may adapt the apprenticeship configuration and delivery to their needs.

Additional Training

Apprentices shall possess and maintain credentialing as Certified Nursing Assistant and a minimum of one year of work experience as a CNA prior to entry. The apprentices must complete the following prior to completing the program: 1. Obtain certification via the NCLEX Board exam. 2. Complete all related instruction needed to obtain associate degree Nursing (R.N.). 3. Successfully complete "Transition to Trainer" in the final year of the program.
