The classes will focus on the four core areas of community-based residential facilities. Standard precautions will focus on educating the learner on how to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Medication administration will focus on teaching the learner how to properly handle medication along with other protocols related to administration. Fire safety will show the learner how to properly handle a fire extinguisher and respond properly to the needs of the client during and emergency. First aid and choking will teach the student how to care for a minor cut and perform the Helmich Maneuver on a conscious adult. Show More

Taylor Transitional Training will offer employment opportunities through Taylor Career Source to participants that complete training within the areas of assisted-livings, group homes, and community-based residential facilities. The next step would be to continue case management and move forward with assisting the learner to enroll in a formal healthcare training program for additional employment advancement.
We have partnered with several employers to offer employment opportunities once class is complete.
Taylor Transitional Training will offer employment opportunities through Taylor Career Source to participants that complete training within the areas of assisted-livings, group homes, and community-based residential facilities.
The facilitator will be available to assist student 30 minutes prior to and after each class. Additional training will be offered the following Monday to ensure students achieve success.

Tuition and required fees include Student material, in-class supplies, all training materials, lunch and snacks for the duration of the classes.
