Requirement Five - Satisfactory Completion of Work or Services
The individual is responsible for the satisfactory completion of work or services that he or she contracts to perform and is liable for a failure to complete the work or service.
Explanation of Requirement Five
An employing unit satisfies this requirement by showing that the individual was:
- Responsible for the satisfactory completion of the work or services he or she contracted to perform.
- Liable for failure to complete the work or services. Being liable for failure to complete the work or services could include a monetary penalty, nonpayment for unsatisfactory work, or being required to redo the unsatisfactory work without being paid additional money.
