Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary-designee Caleb Frostman released the following statement on the QCEW data released by BLS:
"Today's release shows that despite global trade tensions affecting long term manufacturing investment, Wisconsin is outperforming most or all states in numerous categories," Frostman said. "The Evers Administration will continue our comprehensive workforce development efforts, focusing on the quantity and quality of jobs filled in our state, as well as reducing and eliminating barriers to employment. At DWD, our targeted investments in initiatives like reentry programming, apprenticeship, and the recently delivered Mobile Job Center will continue until our economy works for all Wisconsinites, allowing our residents to invest in themselves, their families, and their communities."
The data released today by BLS can be viewed on the BLS website.
