ERD IT COORDINATOR

Pay will be determined in accordance with the Wisconsin Compensation Plan. This position is in schedule-range 07-35.
Under close supervision of the Deputy Division Administrator in the Equal Rights division (ERD), this position serves as the division’s information systems professional, providing consultation and technical support for all ERD programs/functions including Web design, the Federal IMS (Integrated Mission System) application, and all other ERD programs including CRIS (Civil Rights Information System) and LSIS (Labor Standards Information System). This position will assist the division’s and department’s strategic business planning teams and assist in the development and monitoring of the implementation of the division's information technology plan.
Web development responsibilities include the implementation of web technologies for the publication of ERD information for consumption on both the internal and external web servers. The technical support responsibilities for this position include working with subject matter experts to bring up-to-date information to individuals through the web within the department’s and division's mission and goals.
The ERD is funded in part through the processing of cases for credit with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). We receive case credit after data input through the Federal IMS application and case review. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that the IMS application is accurately recording information which allows us to request reimbursement on cases. This position will also be involved in the resolution of rejected claims and ad-hoc reporting.
The Bureaus of Civil Rights and Labor Standards each have systems to record data for record-keeping and tracking purposes. Leading the formulation of technology to allow the division to obtain information within these programs which achieve the goals and objectives of the department will be a key point of this position.
