Jefferson County Regional Job Fair Set for Tuesday, September 12, Featuring Approximately 40 Employers
JEFFERSON – On Tuesday, September 12, the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) will partner with the South Central Workforce Development Board to host the Jefferson County Regional Job Fair from 1-4 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The Job Fair will host approximately 40 employers and other workforce resources.
Job fairs are valuable hiring events that enable employers to scout for talent and provide job seekers with direct access to hiring managers.
Admission is free and pre-registration is not required for job seekers. All individuals seeking employment opportunities are encouraged to dress for success, bring resume copies for distribution, and be prepared for possible onsite interviews. The Job Fair will feature a Job Seeker Prep Area for job seekers to meet with professionals to review their resume and offer tips. The Job Seeker Prep Area opens at 12 p.m.
The Jefferson County Fairgrounds is located at 503 N. Jackson Ave, Jefferson. For more information, please contact the Kathi Strohbusch at (920) 674-7500 or Kathi.Strohbusch@dwd.wisconsin.gov.
