Over 1,400 Job Seekers, 100 Employers Registered for Bay Area Career Expo
Hiring event is open to pre-registered job seekers and employers with jobs to fill
GREEN BAY – Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary Reggie Newson announced today over 1,400 job seekers and 100 employers with nearly 1,700 jobs to fill have registered for the Bay Area Career Expo on Tuesday, October 13 at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.
"The Bay Area Career Expo is open to pre-registered job seekers and businesses in all sectors with current job openings," said Secretary Newson. "I encourage employers to register for a booth today to ensure access to pre-screened job seekers who successfully demonstrate work-ready qualities."
Registered businesses include: Ariens Company, Aurora Health Care, ExacTech, H.J. Martin & Son, Johnsonville Sausage, Marine Travelift, N.E.W. Plastics Corp., Schneider National, Shopko, Time Warner Cable and West Corporation. Employers interested in attending the Bay Area Career Expo must register online by October 2.
Job seekers will make employment connections at the Bay Area Career Expo from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first 30 minutes will be limited to U.S. military veterans seeking employment. The general public will be admitted at 10 a.m.

Create a Logon or enter credentials in the Secure Logon.
Complete a Résumé:
Click on Create Résumé to complete or update, save and print your résumé.
Complete the Self-Assessment Survey:
Save and print your Self-Assessment Survey.
Attend a Career Expo Readiness Review Session:
Bring your résumé and completed Self-Assessment Survey to the local Job Center for a Career Readiness Review Session or to Bay Area Career Expo to have materials reviewed and obtain an admission ticket.
