Summary of Updates to Technical Specification for SFY 2019

All updates made to the Technical Specifications for the State Fiscal Year 2019 can be found in the table below. Changes made are effective July 1, 2018.

Customized/Supported Employment: Monthly Skill Instruction Removed requirement of meeting in month 2 of employment and made it optional.
IPS/Customized/Supported Employment: Transition to LTS Added requirement for signature or email attachment confirmation of agreement of transition plan.
Added signatures to required reports, with clarification that an email confirmation attachment may also be submitted in lieu of signatures.
Added requirement of wage rate documentation prior to case closure.
IPS/Customized/Supported Employment: Placement and Job Development Changed review date of 60 days to 90 days.
Clarification that the 90-day review meeting can be done via phone, email, or in person.
Job Development: PlanClarification that the final review meeting can be done via phone, email, or in person.
Job Development: RetentionAdded requirement of wage rate documentation prior to case closure.
Job ShadowClarification that the final review meeting can be done via phone, email, or in person.
Student Work Based Learning Services: Training No additional retention payment will be made to a service provider when/if the student's case is closed after receiving this service.
