The new Supported Employment, Customized Employment and Systematic Instruction Fee Schedule and Technical Specifications effective date of change is March 1, 2017.
Why the Change?
The effective date of change was originally scheduled for February 1, 2017; however, however, it is being pushed back to accommodate IRIS updates and to allow DVR staff to complete training for these services prior to implementation.
The Supported Employment, Customized Employment and Systematic Instruction training will be provided in-person to each WDA during the month of February/March.
All DVR Statewide Service Providers had designated personnel complete the Supported Employment and Systematic Instruction training this past fall and will be expected to train all other personnel within their agency that provide Supported Employment and Systematic Instruction services to DVR consumers.
Some additional training resources will be made available in early February for providers and DVR staff. These will be short, on demand recorded presentations, frequently asked questions and other tools to describe in more detail how reports and services in supported employment should be provided.
