Why is this change being made?
DVR's Employer of Record Opportunities Incorporated has developed an Applicant and Time Entry Portal that will be made available to DVR Service Providers working with DVR consumers that are participating in an Internship/Temporary Work (I/TW).
What are the Changes?
The applicant portal guides participants through the required federal compliance documents, such as I9 and W4, as well as eases the set-up of direct deposit and benefit information. The applicant portal is easy to use, secure and confidential. The purchase order and Temporary Work Agreement are easily uploaded.
Opportunities, Incorporated began offering the applicant portal in June 2017 as a pilot with 4 DVR Service Providers. It has expanded to 14 DVR Service Providers to-date. The time entry portal has been in use since 2015 and is used by many DVR Service Providers. Each employee is automatically set-up with a time entry portal login and password. Using the time entry portal gives the employee experience with time card entry each day or week. There will be no need for employers or providers to fax or scan time cards each week. Instead, the Service Provider will be set-up as a time approver for all of their participants currently working in one listing. At the end of each week, the Service Provider will just login and approve the time for the week worked. No further action is required.
The participant portal also gives the employee and/or guardian 24/7 access to paycheck stubs and W2 information. This information can be viewed and/or printed at any time. The portal remains active even after the participant is done working.
When a DVR Service Provider opts in to the portal program, Opportunities Incorporated will offer webinar training with completion certification shared with DVR, step-by-step training documentation, a frequently asked questions guide and customer call support. After certification, a Service Provider will no longer be able to submit paper documents in order to ensure the processing time to one week.
