Subject - TAP Update

Greetings. Congratulations everyone on your fantastic efforts to propel Wisconsin into the TAP Final Four. Please don't take your foot off the gas - like the Badgers, we have to keep at it! We still have a long way to go both nationally and in Wisconsin.

We will start looking at ways we can reach out to the business community (especially federal contractors covered under Section 503) in the coming weeks. Of course more jobs will make it easier to promote the tool to consumers. Simultaneously, more talent will help us make stronger inroads with the business community.

So first, congratulations for the amazing work. Second, keep it up. Let's keep growing and working toward making TAP an important, long-term part of our consumer toolkit.

Thank you, Brian

Subject - TAP 250 Final Countdown

Two things happen this Sunday: the Meteorological Spring and the TAP250 Finish Line! Do you have a SPRING in your step? Then help us TAP our way to 250 published profiles.

More good news: I am very pleased to say you are doing an incredible job. We've increased total profiles to 572, 149 of which are published. That means we have 423 unpublished profiles we can push into action.

TAPTIP of the week: Call those service providers! Use them to help get your unpublished profiles turn the corner. Check those unpublished profiles! Contact your consumers with reminders! Remember what you learned in orientation? Document, document, document. Consult, consult, consult. The TAP250 official addition: Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up!

This is the week everyone. Let's push it over the top: we can do it!

Subject - TAP 250 Status

Greetings VR Staff: Welcome to your weekly TAP250 update. Drum roll, please.

Since the inception of TAP250, we've increased total profiles from 263 to a whopping 365! And we've increased published profiles from 65 to 111!

We are over 100 published profiles! Way to go team - we are now just shy of half way to our goal! WE CAN DO IT!

Our unpublished profile list is getting big – remember to look there first and get those profiles completed. How? Well check out our TAPTIP of the week for an example of how one VRC is taking care of this!

TAPTIP of the Week: FOLLOW-UP! Darci, in WDA 1, invites her consumers, sends an informational email, checks her candidates' status weekly in TAP, resends invites that haven't been accepted, checks in on resume development and publication status, sends reminder emails, and even offers assistance to consumers who need help finishing or publishing their profile. Now that is putting tap on the map!

Subject - TAP 250 Status

Greetings VR Staff: Excellent work on TAP 250. In three short weeks we have:

WOW! Excellent work! We are now 153 published profiles short of our goal, which means we still have a lot of work to do. Remember to look at your unpublished profile list – they've already been deemed TAP ready – now we just have to bring them home. And don't forget to look at consumers in job ready status – especially those not in job development. And remember, doing a TAP Invite is just as easy as TAPping your feet.

TAPTIP of the week: Look at your candidates in training. Anyone about to get a degree or certificate? If so, they are probably a great candidate for TAP.

Subject - TAP 250 Introduction / Update

Greetings VR Staff: WE have been tasked with a new goal: TAP 250. The goal is to reach 250 published profiles in TAP by the END OF FEBRUARY.

I have already been in weekly communications with Directors and BSCs. If you haven't already heard from your Director on this, you will soon. Some WDAs have even issued challenges (with prizes!) to meet certain goals. Statewide our goal is 250.

TAP currently has 295 total Wisconsin profiles (which is awesome: great job!) but only 75 of them are published (viewable by employers). We are already making great progress: last week, when we kicked off TAP250, we only had 263 profiles and 65 published.

I will be communicating weekly with how we are doing. Until then, keep TAPping away!

TAPTIP of the week: Start with your consumers who already have UNPUBLISHED PROFILES! You've already deemed them TAP ready, so now let's just get them published. Also, be creative about who gets on. Are they in job ready status but not in job development? Probably a good candidate for TAP.

Have you invited a VR jobseeker to TAP today?
