Interagency Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Plan: 2017 Wisconsin Act 178
2017 Wisconsin Act 178 requires the Department of Workforce Development's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), the Department of Health Services (DHS), and the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to collaborate, with the input of stakeholders, in the development of a joint plan to increase CIE in Wisconsin.
The Draft CIE Joint Plan establishes DVR, DHS, and DPI performance improvement targets, describing the specific coordination methods that will ensure programs, policies, and procedures statewide support CIE outcomes for youth and adults with disabilities in Wisconsin.
An input session for the Draft CIE Joint Plan will take place on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. This session will provide stakeholders, including individuals with disabilities, an opportunity to comment and provide feedback on the plan.
For more information about the stakeholder input session, see the announcement.
