Encrypted Email

Cisco Registered Envelope Service (CRES)

Email encryption is used to protect confidential information such as personally identifiable information (PII). Encryption prevents anyone other than the authorized recipient from opening an email. The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) uses CRES for email encryption.

If this is the first time you received an encrypted email from DWD: See instructions on how to open an encrypted email at Cisco's Secure Email Recipient Guide.

If you need help registering or opening a Registered Envelope, contact DWD or, for after hours support, contact Cisco (See box at right).
