-funded training should continue to choose training programs from this website until it is shut down. After this website is shut down, visit Wisconsin's new ETPL website to choose training programs.

All training providers, new and existing, must apply for Wisconsin's ETPL through the ETPL Provider Portal. Wisconsin is establishing new ETPL eligibility criteria. Only programs submitted through the Provider Portal that meet the criteria will be displayed on the new ETPL website. The new ETPL Provider Portal is planned to launch on September 2, 2019.

Once launched, the ETPL website and Provider Portal will be accessible through JobCenterofWisconsin.com by clicking on the "Education & Training" link with the mortarboard icon, located on the bottom of the homepage.

Description of the training program
GPS Advanced Manufacturing Career Pathways

A. Work-based Paid Training 5-6 hours per day at employer in one or more of the following areas:
1. Assembly and Packaging
2. Manufacturing Processes
3. Welding
4. Machining
5. Industrial Equipment

B. Classroom Training 2-3 hours per day in the following areas:
1. Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician, which covers these four core manufacturing skill areas (http://www.msscusa.org/certification/production-certification-cpt/);
a) Safety
b) Quality Practices & Measurement
c) Manufacturing Processes & Production
d) Maintenance Awareness
2. Technical Literacy in;
a) Manufacturing
b) Computer Use
c) Blueprint Reading
3. Personal Literacy in;
a) Service Learning
b) Budgeting and Finance
c) Career Exploration

C. This program will also serve as a bridge to additional training opportunities for some trainees:
1. Technical College Certifications and Degrees
2. Registered Apprenticeships
