Complete a Bookkeeper technical diploma at Moraine Park Technical College with only five courses. About the Program The Bookkeeper program is available on campus or online and teaches students basic accounting concepts. Students gain hands-on experience using accounting software programs to organize, analyze and deliver data. What You'll Learn Students learn hands-on skills to manage financial data for a small business. Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
All courses in this technical diploma will transfer into the Accounting Assistant Technical Diploma and Accounting Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
