Agribusiness Science & Technology
Lakeshore Technical College
Whether you want to run your own agribusiness operation or help other agriculture producers become more successful, this program gives you the skills you need. Learn how to merge business and science to produce a product and make a profit. Through hands-on learning and on-the-job experience, you’ll gain skills in animal science and nutrition, integrated pest management, soil science, crop production and precision agriculture. You’ll be able to develop crop management, livestock management and business plans. You’ll also learn how to enhance your success through sales, marketing and business management. This program will open doors to a variety of agribusiness career pathways. Since Lakeshore Technical College shares this program with Moraine Park Technical College students, classes are scheduled efficiently and to reduce student travel using the iFlex instructional mode (see description). MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
