Program Description

The Secure Juvenile Detention Academy is a program that provides the curriculum required for juvenile detention worker certification with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Law Enforcement Training and Standards Bureau. The program is a 160 hours and provides instruction on how to be a detention officer. The non credit program requires a skills-assessment prior to completion to verify student competence.
