Farm Business and Production Management
Fox Valley Technical College
If you want to learn the newest practices and technology in farming, you ll find them in this unique program. Go on special field trips, attend classes and get personalized instruction on your farm while learning soil, crop and dairy management. You ll also learn how to keep farm records and analyze your farm business operation. This part-time program is designed to fit around your work schedule.

Students will take one three-credit class each academic year. This program will take six years to complete.

3 weeks prior to a semester beginning in either August for fall or January for spring.

FVTC Teaching & Learning Center - tutoring is available for Math, Accounting, Science, Reading and study skills, writing and study groups.

Tuition and fees are subject to change. Costs may not include all books or all materials and supplies.Some textbook costs may be included in the estimated program cost.
Refunds are processed according to the WTCS refund policy. Wisconsin Technical College 10.08, Wisconsin Administrative Code, establishes the requirements for district policies and procedures related to student fee refunds. Refunds are applicable only from the date the student officially drops the class through Enrollment Services or online. FVTC will not drop any classes for students for nonpayment or for failure to attend any portion of the class. All references to student fees mean applicable

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
