The technical skills developed through our Electromechanical Technology program will prepare you for a rewarding career in a wide array of manufacturing and industrial sectors. A combination of theory and hands on activities will provide the experience needed to enter this high-demand field. The program emphasizes the application of control systems that integrate computers, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, robotics, and mechanical drives to perform an automated process. Maintenance skills including mechanical, electrical, welding, and machining are also developed. You will be introduced to the latest technology and graduate with an up-to-date skillset to directly enter this rewarding field. This program is the parent program of a pathway. It has an Embedded Technical Diploma called Electromechanical Maintenance Technician.
