A successful completion of a Criminal Background Check through the Dept. of Justice and the WI Dept. of Children and Families prior to placement in ECE: Practicum 1; information will be provided upon enrollment into Practicum 1; verification that you have no criminal offense that prohibits you from working in an early childhood related profession is also required. Prior to placement in ECE: Practicum 1 or completion of Advanced Standing credit for Practicum 1, you must complete a physical exam.

FVTC Teaching & Learning Center - tutoring is available for Math, Accounting, Science, Reading and study skills, writing and study groups.

Refunds are processed according to the WTCS refund policy. Wisconsin Technical College 10.08, Wisconsin Administrative Code, establishes the requirements for district policies and procedures related to student fee refunds. Refunds are applicable only from the date the student officially drops the class through Enrollment Services or online. FVTC will not drop any classes for students for nonpayment or for failure to attend any portion of the class. All references to student fees mean applicable

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
