This Medication Administration training prepares students to safely administer medications in community-based residential facilities (CBRF), assisted living settings, and home care environments. This course follows Wisconsin state-approved CBRF training standards.Students will learn proper medication administration procedures, including the “Five Rights” of medication administration, documentation requirements, infection control, medication storage, and error prevention. The course also covers identifying side effects, handling PRN medications, and responding to medication-related emergencies.Hands-on skills training is included to ensure students can correctly demonstrate medication administration techniques, including oral, topical, and other approved routes. Real-life scenarios are used to prepare students for workplace situations. Upon successful completion, students will receive a state-recognized CBRF Medication Administration certificate. Participants must: Be at least 18 years old Be able to read, write, and understand Spoke language Successfully complete all required coursework and skills demonstration Attend all scheduled training sessions (no partial completion) Present a valid photo ID at the start of training Participants are expected to: Follow all classroom and safety guidelines Participate in hands-on medication administration skills practice

This Medication Administration training prepares participants to safely administer medications in community-based residential settings under Wisconsin guidelines. This training builds on foundational caregiver skills and is designed for individuals seeking employment or advancement in the healthcare field. Participants who complete this training can pursue employment as Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, Nursing Assistants, and other direct care roles in assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and home care agencies. This course serves as a career pathway step within the healthcare field and may be combined with additional training such as CBRF certifications, CPR certification, and caregiver training to increase employability and advancement opportunities.
Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy provides job placement support to all participants upon successful completion of the program. Support includes assistance with identifying employment opportunities, connecting with local employers, and guidance on the application process. Participants may be referred to assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and home care agencies within the community. Additional support may include interview preparation and general employment guidance. While job placement is not guaranteed, the training is designed to prepare participants for immediate entry into the healthcare workforce.

All payments are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class start date may be eligible for a one-time reschedule based on availability. No refunds will be issued once a participant is registered, including for missed classes or failure to attend. If Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy cancels a class, participants will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
