This program provides comprehensive training for individuals seeking to become certified to work in Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) in Milwaukee. The training covers state-required regulations, resident care standards, safety procedures, and professional ethics. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care in residential facilities for adults, seniors, and individuals with special needs.

The Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Staff Training program serves as an entry point into the healthcare and residential care workforce pathway. Participants develop foundational skills in resident care, medication administration awareness, safety procedures, and communication required to work in assisted living and community-based residential settings. After completing this program, individuals may pursue employment in entry-level caregiving roles such as Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, Psychiatric Aide, or Residential Support Staff. With additional training and experience, participants may advance along the healthcare career pathway into positions such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or other healthcare and behavioral health support roles. This pathway allows individuals to begin with short-term training that leads to immediate employment while also providing opportunities for continued education and
Participants who require additional assistance may receive instructor support and guided review of training materials to ensure successful completion of required competencies and assessments.

Students who withdraw prior to the start of training may receive a full refund of tuition and fees. Students who withdraw after the start of training may receive a prorated refund based on the portion of the program completed. No refunds will be issued once the program is more than 50% completed.
