WI DHS, Division of Quality Assurance, State-Approved Training Program. This program consists of 75 hours of in-person training (lecture, lab, and clinical). Successful completion of the program provides eligibility to take the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Competency Exam administered by D&S Headmaster.

Valid State of Wisconsin issued Driver’s License or Identification card or passport. Expired documents are not accepted; At least age 18 or has earned a High School/General Education Diploma. Applicants who are at least age 16 and currently enrolled in high school may be eligible if permitted by the corresponding clinical site for a specific course offering; Social Security Card; State of Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check; Immunizations and/or vaccine immunity titers, a 2-Step TB Test, COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results within 96 hours of patient contact, FLU vaccination (typically required between October 1st – May 31st); Be able to meet physical requirements (must be able to be on your feet for an 8-hour clinical shift, lift and transfer 50 lbs, bend, reach, and squat, perform motor skills, have good mobility and balance, and be free of physical and medical restrictions); Be able to read and write English at a 9th grade level (minimum)

This program is offered

Ten (10) days prior to the selected course start date.

The cost of tuition is $2,500 and covers instruction, books, classroom materials, WI Caregiver Background Check, and the WI Nurse Aide Competency Exam. Brenbrook Healthcare Training will cover the cost of one (1) Nurse Aide Competency Exam for each student upon successful completion of the training program. The cost covers both the Knowledge Exam and the Skills Test. If a student does not pass on the first attempt, each additional testing will be the responsibility of the student. Other fees associated with pre-requisites are not covered as part of tuition and are the students’ responsibility (uniform, immunizations and/or vaccine immunity titers, TB testing, flu vaccine).
A student who is terminated from the program for failure to meet requirements or adhere to policies will forfeit all monies paid. A student who voluntarily withdraws from the program before or by the end of the first day of class will be subject to a refund of seventy-five percent (75%) of monies paid. Refunds will not be reimbursed for pre-perquisite requirements. Voluntary withdrawals beyond the first day of class will result in a forfeit of all monies paid.
