Guided by our vision of transforming healthcare education through integrity, speed, and community impact, the Trinity CBRF Caregiver Training Program equips students with the competencies needed to deliver compassionate, safe, and compliant care in Wisconsin’s Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs).
This DHS-approved training meets Wisconsin DHS 83.20/83.25 requirements and emphasizes both technical skills and caregiver values. Graduates are prepared not only to meet regulatory standards, but to enrich the lives of the residents they serve.

A program that requires its students to demonstrate they have successfully acquired a set of skills or knowledge base prior to completing the program. Compare to a "time-based" training program that results in successful completion if the students participate in a certain number of instructional hours.

Rolling admission (until cohort is full)
We provide individualized job placement support, including resume/cover-letter development, mock interviews, and application assistance. Students receive curated job leads with local assisted living and residential care partners, plus employer referrals and interview scheduling when available. We also host hiring events, offer reference letters upon request, and give post-placement support with 30/60/90-day check-ins. Coordination with workforce funders (e.g., WIOA/FSET) is available when applicable.
Registration fee, UW-Green Bay CBRF Employee Registry fees — $25 per class (Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking, Medication Administration, Standard Precautions) plus ARC CPR certification exam.
This program requires 30 face-to-face contact hours and is designed to be completed in one week.
Students will receive a 100% refund if they cancel at least three business days before the start date, or 75% if they cancel at least two business days prior. No refunds are issued after the class begins or for no-shows. One seat-available transfer is permitted for $50 if requested at least 24 hours before the next start or within two business days after a no-show; this fee may be waived once for documented emergencies.
