University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
01/31/2025
This patient access representative training provides you with skills and knowledge for a rewarding career with limited or no healthcare experience. With the technology skills required for this role, obtaining active learning through an electronic health record simulator will provide a complete user experience with all aspects of that equipment, which you will find in many healthcare settings. You will also learn how to collect information from patients before their medical appointments and answer any questions about billing. Moving through the program at your own pace, your facilitators will be there with you every step of the way to provide clarification, support, and guidance. This patient access representative course also features a medical terminology component that introduces key concepts of medical language and human anatomy, emphasizing the interconnectedness of body systems in health and disease.
