Program Description

Dual Certification training consist of CBRF training, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking and Medication Administration. This course will allow participants to work in hospitals, nursing homes, home care and community based residential facilities. CBRF includes 24 hours of lecture/lab. Stop The Bleed consists of 16 hours of lecture/lab training that will teach participants the techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out. How to apply pressure to a bleeding wound, how to pack a wound to control bleeding and how to correctly apply a tourniquet. We aim to empower students to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life. AHA's BLS/CPR course is 4 1/2 hours and will teach participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
