Our combined Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Training Program integrates DHS-approved curricula to prepare students for a range of healthcare settings. The program includes 60 hours of lecture and lab plus 15 hours of clinical practice for the CNA portion, equipping students to take the Wisconsin nurse aide exam upon completion. The CBRF segment consists of 25 hours of lecture and lab, covering essential topics such as Fire Safety, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, First Aid & Choking, Resident Rights, Client Group Specific Training. Students who complete the CBRF training will be added to the CBRF Employee Registry, qualifying them to work in community-based residential facilities. All students must submit the following documentation to Life Got Better at least 3 days before the first class: a signed Background Information Disclosure, a valid Driver’s License or State ID, and a Social Security Card. TB Test results within 90 days before training or a Chest X-Ray from the past year if the TB Test is positive or not possible are required. A flu shot is mandatory for classes held between October and March. Students must have current CPR & AED certification and, if pregnant, provide a physician's note with no medical restrictions before the first class. Maintaining a drug and alcohol-free status during classes is essential. Adherence to the dress code includes wearing nursing scrubs, closed-toe nursing shoes, a watch with a second hand, socks daily, hair pulled back, and short, unpolished nails with no fake nails. $150.00 State exam, $20.00 background check & $80 Registry Fee
25 % of the fee will serve as a processing fee, if a cancel on or before 3 days, this amount will be forfeited. No exceptions applied. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 15 days or less before the class begins. No refunds will be issued if a student is terminated for policy violations, self-termination, or failure to pass the exam.
