Class A CDL Training
Sabertooth Commercial Driver Training Institute Inc.
06/02/2011
Our Program is a 3 week long course running Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm. Our classes start every two weeks. We split their day in half. Half of the day they will be in the classroom learning the entry level driver training information while the other half of the day they will be out in the trucks learning pre-trips, driving and backing skills. They will be trained in a 10-speed manual truck with a 48 or 53 foot trailer. We will also set them up for their final road test with the state examiner.

Prior to starting the course they will need to obtain a Class A learners permit, get a DOT Physical (Fed Med Card), and have a DOT pre-employment drug test done. These three things are just needed 1 week prior to them starting. To save a seat in class they need tuition, sign enrollment agreement, and fill out a school application.

This program is offered

The application for the class needs to be completed 2 weeks prior to their start date. The sooner they can get it done the better off they are.
Once the student is enrolled into our program if they need help studying for the permit test, we offer that to them. We will call and set up a time to help them study here at the school when it fits with our schedule and their schedule.

Permit fee is $35.00 that is what they have to pay at the DMV to pick up their permit $150.00 is the state tester fee. 3 tests $50 each. $200 is about average cost for the DOT Physical and the DOT pre-employment drug screen.
Written in our student enrollment agreement. To much for text limit.

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
