Substance Abuse Counselor in Training

If you already have a bachelor s or master s degree in a human services field and want to meet the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services educational requirement for the SAC-IT credential, this program will help. You ll learn basic information about substance abuse counseling, including clients rights and clinical ethics. You ll also gain an understanding of addiction and explore best practices for counseling clients.

This program is offered

3 weeks prior to a semester beginning in either August for fall or January for spring

Tuition and fees are subject to change. Costs may not include all books or all materials and supplies. Some textbook costs may be included in the estimated program cost
