If you already hold the Wisconsin Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC)-IT level credential, this program will help you meet the Department of Safety and Professional Services requirements for the SAC credential. You ll develop the skills to interview clients for the assessment and diagnosis of substance abuse. In addition, you ll gain an understanding of mental disorders that co-exist with substance disorders and develop your group facilitation skills.
