Become a nurse aide (CNA) in 2 to 3 weeks through the Healthcare Workforce Training institute's state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program. During this class you will receive classroom, lab, and clinical time while gaining hands-on experience with patients. Deadlines for classes vary, depending on the start date of the class. However, all necessary paperwork is asked to be submitted at least 5 business days prior to the start of the class.
After successfully completing the nurse aide class and passing the certification exam, you will be able to work in the healthcare setting of your choice and enjoy a career ladder with great earning and learning opportunities. Many healthcare professionals start their career as nurse aides or CNA's gaining valuable experience and insight before advancing to become a Medication Aide, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory or Physical Therapist, or even a Physician.
The Healthcare Workforce Training Institute provides training to the general public and partners with over 260 long-term care providers to provide learning opportunities and workforce advancement for their employees.

The cost of the class is $550.00, which includes the textbook and all printed materials. Should the student want to obtain their certification to be a nurse aide they will need to pay an additional $131.50 for the state test directly to the testing provider.
