Provide the necessary training to clients to have entry level caregiver job skills to care for children, teens, disabled adults and frail elderly in a community based residential setting of all types. This class teaches all necessary skills to obtain employment as a CBRF caregiver. The training includes the 4 core classes: 14 hours medication administration, 4 hours first aide and choking, 3 hours fire safety and 2 hour standard precautions class. The cost of the class includes lecture, lab, books, state registration fee and testing. Clients are job ready at the successful conclusion of all classes. All required materials, books and supplies as well as registry fees are included in the fees
Refunds can be made for cancellation of class made at least 21 days prior to start of class date. A partial refund of 50% can be made for cancelations made up to 7 days prior to class or may reschedule for a future class. No refunds for cancellations made 7 days in advance but may reschedule for a future class. Refunds will not be made for being dropped for class for attendance, performance or failing. 100% Attendance and successful completion of the skills test is mandatory to pass the class.

The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
