Advance your skincare knowledge by learning the techniques needed to perform skincare treatments within a medical practice/spa setting. In addition to learning fundamental skincare services including facial/body treatments, skincare analysis, makeup application, and hair removal, you'll receive training and instruction on laser procedures, Microdermabrasion, Microblading, chemical peels, lash treatments and other popular services. An academic skills assessment is required for admission into this program or the following: High School GPA of 2.75 or higher (last 10 years) OR provide completion of associate’s or higher degree OR; 165 or higher on your 2014 series GED tests OR; ACT OR SAT OR Accuplacer OR Companion OR Compass (last 3 years) to waive to the general education level; The cost of the Accuplacer assessment is $15; Catalog #: 94100100 Read, acknowledge, and submit a Technical Standards form found at foxvalleytechnicalcollege.formstack.com/forms/aesthetician_ts Pursuant to 2017 Wisconsin Act 278, beginning August 1, 2018, prior to submitting an application for a credential, an individual may apply to the Department of Safety and Professional Services for a determination of whether the individual would be disqualified from obtaining the credential due to his/her/their conviction record; To apply for a predetermination, please fill out Form #3253 and submit all required documentation

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
