The Mindful Way Building Trades Training is a unique marriage between workforce development construction training & employment. We recruit community members who are interested in a career in construction and offer them the training & education needed to add value to a jobsite. Individuals are provided with the tools and equipment necessary to be successful and furthermore they are hired by Mindful Staffing or moved into union apprenticeship careers. Upon being hired, individuals who have identified their area of interest are sent to jobsites to work with our client companies who need workers. These opportunities are generally temp-to-perm and unless there is a specific request from the employee, we will not move them into other areas of work. After the temp-to-perm period is complete, these individuals are on-boarded to these companies and converted to full-time workers where they will build a lasting and growing career.

A program that requires its students to demonstrate they have successfully acquired a set of skills or knowledge base prior to completing the program. Compare to a "time-based" training program that results in successful completion if the students participate in a certain number of instructional hours.

Career pathway is to move individuals up through the ranks of construction in both apprenticeship and non-apprenticeship roles.
Mindful Staffing will utilize temp-to-perm opportunities to help qualifying individuals obtain initial job placement. Additionally, we will offer accuplacer testing for individuals who decide to follow the apprenticeship career pathway.
Other fees include real-time training and workforce data tracking that will be used to identify measurable skills gained, performance levels, probability of success, and barrier identification and assistance. Barrier assistance includes transportation services, access to emergency housing assistance.
80% refund applicable to individuals who do not complete the first week of training.
