Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CERHS) + Medical Terminology

Through 14 lessons and hands-on practice using real electronic health record (EHR) software, you'll learn what kind of information is stored in an EHR system, what steps are required to implement a system in a medical practice, how staff and patients interact with EHR systems, & what benefits these systems provide compared to traditional paper records. You will have direct access to expert facilitators who will share about working as a CEHRS. You will also study medical terminology - word parts & the structures and functions of the human body. You will study disorders and medical procedures common to each body system, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, integumentary, genitourinary, lymphatic, and immune. Upon completion of this course, you will be prepared to take the Electronic Health Record Specialist Certification (CEHRS) exams offered by National Healthcareer Association (NHA), & the cost of the exam is included in your tuition.
