IT - Applications Support Specialist

Information Technology - Applications Support Specialist graduates are uniquely positioned to support a variety of applications in the workplace and support foundational networking, storage, and security needs. Information Technology - Applications Support Specialist students will obtain education and training on multiple business applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft applications. Students will also receive training for Office 365 Administrator certification and will be prepared to provide end-user training and support for these and other software applications used in business settings. Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
The courses from the Office Software Specialist Certificate can be directly transferred into Moraine Park’s Information Technology - Applications Support Specialist Associate of Applied Science degree.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.
