Offering convenience and flexibility for the working student, parent, or caretaker for a loved one, this is a 4-week course designed to prepare students to obtain a nursing assistant certification in the State of Wisconsin. Alliance Specialty Healthcare Services nursing assistant program is completed in no less than 75 hours. Approximately 40 hours are to be completed online/remotely during the first 3 weeks (web-based lectures, videos, quizzes, and assignments). Any device can be used to accomplish this including a smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. The remaining 35 hours will be in-person during week 4. The in-person portion consists of 19 hours of hands-on skills demonstration and competency check offs at the Alliance Specialty Healthcare Services’ skills lab and a 16-hour clinical rotation (two 8-hr days) at one of our local nursing home sites. Applicants may register up until 7 business days before the start of the training session, unless the training session is already full.
Nursing Assistant, CBRF, Homecare, Personal Aide, Hospitals, Hospice. Requirement to most nursing programs progressing to LPN, RN, BSN.

Supportive Services: State of WI Examination fee is $125.00 (doesn't include retakes); drug screen $50.00; QuantiFERON TB blood test $80.00; background check $10.00. TOTAL = $265.00. Supplies/Materials include uniform with name badge $25.00; goggles $2.00; gait belt $8.00. TOTAL=$35
Tuition and fees shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school before enrollment. All tuition and fees paid shall be refunded if requested within 3 business days after signing a contract with the school. All refunds shall be returned within 30 days. The following policy becomes effective after 3 business days of the student signing the enrollment agreement. A refund will not be given once class has started or student fails to fulfill requirements of student policies, NO EXCEPTION.

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
