The Entry Level Construction Skills Training & Commercial Driver's License Program provides interested individuals an opportunity to participate in a rigorous, hands -on curriculum and earn industry credentials that prepares them for careers as registered apprentices. Through classroom and hands-on training, the graduate obtains the following competencies as deemed necessary by the industry upon request of the training: Essential Work Skills - Communication, Positive Attendance, Conflict Resolution, Construction Industry Awareness and Introduction to Apprenticeship, Health and Safety (First Aid, CPR, AED, OSHA 10/30, Injury Prevention) Industry Specific Certifications, Math & Blueprint Reading, Concrete Demolition, Power Tools, CDL Preparation, Flaggers Training, Green Construction Awareness and other certifications by placement opportunities. 18 years old; ability to pass drug screen; ability to get to and from job site; ability to lift, move, and handle 25-50 lbs regularly throughout a work day; 6th grade reading and math equivalency; ability to get a drivers license

Assessments, Exams, CDL testing fees,
Refunds are handled on a case by case basis, however no refund is available once enrolled and attendance is acquired for 3 days in the course.

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
