- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. - Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0. - Submit evidence of English language proficiency, if applicable. The required proficiency scores are: TOEFL IBT 92, PBT 580; or IELTS 7.0. - Ideal applicants will have general experience with web, mobile and other interactive technologies. Prior computer programming experience is not required.

The UW-Madison Capstone Certificate in User Experience Design provides a variety of sought-after UX skills, including how to collect and analyze data about user needs and environments, techniques of digital media and design, and strategies for improving usability and accessibility.

Tuition and required fees are $1,200 per credit. A computer is a required supply/material.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
