CBRF Medication Administration

This training course covers a wide range of topics, all designed to provide the information and skills necessary to properly administer medications to those in your care. Some examples of these topics include; Resident Rights, Facility Policies and Procedures, Delegated Procedures, Medication Management, Medical Terms and Abbreviations, Medication Packaging, Labeling, and Storage, Types of Medications, and Medication Administration.
This course fulfills the requirements by DHS for CBRF employees in Medication Administration.
This course is approximately 14 hours over two days in length and to successfully complete the course - students must attend the full length of the course and pass the final written and skills test with a 90% or better in 2 attempts.
After successful completion of the course, student will be placed on the UWGB WI CRBF Caregiver Academy Registry.

A program that requires its students to demonstrate they have successfully acquired a set of skills or knowledge base prior to completing the program. Compare to a "time-based" training program that results in successful completion if the students participate in a certain number of instructional hours.

Must register for the course 24 hours prior to the start of the course.
After successful completion of course, student will be placed on UWGB WI CBRF Caregiver Academy Registry and that fee in covered in course fee.
A class may be cancelled if there are less than two students in the class. If classes are cancelled, the students will be contacted and refunded (or credited toward anther class by the discretion of the student). A student that cancels a class needs to cancel three or more days in advance of the class in order to receive a refund. Students will not receive a refund if he/she cancels within 48 hours and/or does not show up for the class.
