The Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program at UW-Stevens Point is among the largest in the state and one of only three in the state with national accreditation. Our program is recognized nationally and has clinical sites across the entire state. Our students have a 95 percent pass rate on the required national exam compared to 70 percent nationally. A Medical Laboratory Technician Associate Degree student completes the UW-Stevens Point Clinical Lab Science Medical Lab Technician to Medical Lab Scientist degree. Individuals must have earned the MLT degree from a NAACLS accredited program. Earn credit for Medical Laboratory Technician work experience. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
