Program Description

This training program will teach students how to successfully take patients vital signs, assist providers with exams and procedures, administer injections or medications, perform EKG, phlebotomy and other essential laboratory procedures. They will also learn how to check patients in and out upon arrival and departure, answer phone calls, answer questions and update/ maintain electronic records (EHR). In completion of training all students will receive: accredited certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant, recommendation letter for future employers, mock- interview training and open clinicals after graduating.
