A Marketing Project Manager specializes in planning, managing and executing projects related to marketing campaigns. This program will provide both technical and soft skills and best practices to prepare you to be successful in this role. In the Project Management Professional (PMP) course, you will apply the generally recognized practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to successfully manage projects. Your ability as a project manager to demonstrate best practices in project management both on the job and through professional certification is essential to compete in today's fast-paced, highly technical, and dispersed workplace. In addition, you will select an Adobe Creative Cloud application (Illustrator, InDesign or Dreamweaver), to support your multimedia and creativity software background. Familiarity with basic project management concepts and some working experience with project management is preferred. Additional eligibility criteria (educational and work experience) apply to students applying to take PMI-PMP certification exam. PMI (Project Management Institute) is a third-party, industry-recognized certification organization. Exam eligibility requirements are listed at: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/project-management-pmp Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification requires either: 1. 4 year degree, 36 months experience leading projects, and 35 hours of project management education OR CAPM certification OR: 2. Secondary degree (HS diploma, Associate's degree or equivalent), 60 months experience leading projects, and 35 hours of project management education OR CAPM certification

We offer interviewing practice sessions and resume reviews. Professional job placement assistance through recruiting and business partnerships is available to career development students.
