The Certified Nurse Aide program provides the highest quality education and skill training to prepare students to become a professional, safe and competent member of the health care team. Graduates become a pioneer on their first steps toward upward educational and financial mobility. Students are prepared to take and pass the Wisconsin Certification exam and have the necessary skills to gain employment as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Upon successful completion of the CNA program, students will be able to: 1. Master the basic nursing skills of a Nurse Aide in order to assist a professional Nurse to provide quality patient/resident care in a variety of settings, and in order to successfully pass the state certifying exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). 2. Demonstrate mastery and competency of physical care skills, personal care skills, emotional/psycho-social care skills, mobility, nutrition and hydration, elimination and therapeutic procedures. Students can register at any time. Program is offered every four weeks.
The Certified Nursing Assistant course is a career pathway to a nursing degree.
We offer job placement assistance for all our students who complete the program.
The CNA Lab is open to all current and Alumni students. The Registered Nurse instructor offers before and after class assistance.

Students are only charged for classes enrolled. If a third party makes a payment on the student's behalf, all refunds will be issued to that third-party payer. All students who pay out of pock may be eligible for a refund of payments exceeding the charges on their student account. Refunds generated by personal costs may be held up to 7 days to assure that the funds have cleared. Students will receive their refund either by cash or certified funds.

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
